Dr. Mary Mixer Platt was motivated to build our library out of love and respect not only for her husband but also for the community he had served so selflessly. We want to keep her vision alive. And with this calendar we can say that we have tried everything! Librarians, Library Trustees, town Selectboard members, the town Treasurer, our State Representative, a town Lister, the town’s Fire Department, and so many more really putting themselves out there for what has been a most worthy fund-raising project.
